  • Streaming Videos (Windows Vista, Windows 7)

    • Click "Video Gallery" in the navigation bar and Select a Resolution, HD 1080p, HD 720p or SD
    • Or click directly on the "Gallery" of the resolution of interest
    • Select a catagory of video
    • Select a video from the Streaming Video selection that will begin to play right away if you have wired Internet connection. Wireless connections may take longer to start. However, If you have wireless 4G service you can stream right away any video even HD 1080p videos.
    • If you want to re-trace your steps and select other videos and resolutions, use the left arrow in the upper left corner of the display window

 

  • Downloading Videos (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7)

    • Find a video of interest similarly to the steps followed for Streaming Videos
    • Click on the selected video from the Download Video selection
    • Browse to specify the directory for the filename shown in the "Save As" dialog box and press "Save"
    • The downloaded video will start playing right away after downloading

 

  • Playing Downloaded Videos

    • Double-click the ADC2Video icon that will appear on your Desktop after the player installation is done
    • The Player Control Bar will appear
    • Open the file you want to play in the ADC2VideoFiles Directory or any other directory where you have moved the downloaded files. You can also rename any file at your discretion.
    • Notice that the Control Bar allows you to stop at any frame of interest and continue playing
    • Note: downloaded videos are protected against piracy by ADC2 Technologies' unique content protection techniques. Downloaded Videos copied to any other platform will not work. The Content Protection Technology of ADC2 Technologies is unbreakable by any piracy attempts.

 

  • Use Video Compressor (WINDOWS 7 or Higher ONLY)
    • Press the ADC2 Compressor Icon that appears after installing the Video Compressor
    • Press "Settings" in the upper control bar of the window that appears.
    • Press "H.264 Video"
    • Modify the Bitrate in the "Main Settings" section of the window that appears. The Bitrate is shown in Kilobits/sec. Thus, typing 1000 indicates a desired bitrate of 1 Mbps. You can change the other settings if you wish but this is not recommended
    • Press "Apply" and then press "OK"
    • Press "Compress" in the upper control bar of the Compressor window and a browsing window will appear.
    • Browse your directories to select any uncompressed video file that must be in the AVI format
    • Press "Open" at the bottom right to start the compression
    • At the end, the compressed file can be played by pressing "Play" in the Compressor window and/or it can be played later on by launching the ADC2 Video Player

 

  • Use ImageLab
    • While playing a video, you can stop it at any frame of interest by pointing at it with the mouse and pressing with a slight rotation the middle wheel of the mouse. Then press "OK" in the small dialog box that appears. The video being played can be stopped by pressing the "Stop" symbol in the middle of the ADC2 player control bar.
    • An ImageLab window will appear with the frame just captured
    • Press "Image" on the command bar of the ImageLab window and select the desired image processing function from the menu that appears. Such functions are self-explanatory. They create new images any one of which can be saved in any desired directory by pressing "File" on the left of the command bar and then selecting "Save As". The filename can be changed as desired.
    • After a desired image has been processed and the result saved, press the "Clean-Up" function button in the ImageLab Menu to avoid clogging up the system with images that are not of interest.
    • Press the "Play" symbol in the ADC2 Player Control Bar and continue displaying the video until a new frame of interest appears.
    • If you have just saved frames of interest without processing them, you can, at the end of capturing, double click the ImageLab Icon and use the "Image" menu in the Command Bar.
